Kay’s Corner: Unstoppable

Since we last connected, our roster build has taken a huge step forward with some standout additions. Welcoming Keira Barry (England U23), Anouk Denton (England WNT), and Claire Hutton (USWNT) aren’t just about bringing in top talent—it’s about adding the right people.

Each of these players brings something special: quality, experience, and the kind of competitive edge you can feel the moment they step into the group. But what excites me most is what they all share at their core: relentless ambition and a belief in what we’re building here—together.

This is a team that understands something powerful: it’s bigger than any one name on the back of a shirt. Every player has a role. Every player has a responsibility. And when that commitment is lived out the right way, day after day, it doesn’t just move a club forward, it shapes careers, grows confidence, and creates moments people will remember forever.

Preseason is nearly complete.

As we head into the final stages of preseason, I couldn’t be more excited about what’s coming. Emma and her staff have been meticulous in preparation—on the pitch, and off the pitch. The real story is about to begin.

On March 14, we open at home against Denver, and it will be your first glimpse of what this renewed roster looks like in full flight. This is the next phase of our growth; faster, sharper, more connected and we want you right in the middle of it.

Because the truth is simple: we do not reach our ambitions without you.  Your loyalty. Your energy. Your belief. It fuels everything.

Our promise is to repay that in the only way that matters, showing up every time with full commitment and letting winning well be the organic result of doing things the right way.

Seven players. International duty. One more sign of what’s building at Bay.

Before we kick off our first NWSL match, we’re incredibly proud to have seven players heading off to represent their countries in the next two weeks—another clear sign of the talent and momentum within this roster.

International football matters. It challenges players in new ways, with new systems, new opponents, and new pressure, and that experience makes them better. And when they come back stronger, we all benefit as a club.

It’s also a reminder of the bigger picture: the women’s game is growing because people are pushing it forward—players, clubs, countries, fans, and partners, doing it together. If we protect what makes women’s football special and keep building it the right way, we won’t just grow, we’ll keep winning hearts across the world.

That’s how we become unstoppable.

Good luck on the break.

I want to wish Claire (USWNT), Sydney and Brooklyn (Canada WNT), Racheal (Zambia WNT), Karlie (US U23), and Onyeka and Alex (US U20) the very best over the international break.

Make us proud. Stay healthy. Come back flying.

We can’t wait to see you represent and then return home ready to kick off our 2026 season on March 14, on home soil, with our fans behind us.
