Bay Collective is here to raise the bar for women’s football. And then keep moving it higher.
As a multi-club ownership group, the focus is simple: build clubs that win on the pitch, thrive off it, and set new standards for the sport worldwide. Backed by Sixth Street’s global platform, the ambition isn’t incremental, it’s transformational. For athletes, staff, and the communities that support them.
This team believes in the women’s game because it has lived it: its talent, its momentum, and the hard graft it takes to scale sustainably. Clubs join a collective that protects their identity, amplifies their strengths, and connects them to world-class infrastructure and know-how.
The mission: nurture excellence and prove that women’s football can be both culturally powerful and commercially robust at a global level.
Bay Collective aims to build world-class women’s football clubs through bold investment, smart partnerships, and an unwavering belief in the athletes and the product.
Each club’s DNA matters, so the work doubles down on what’s unique locally, then equips it to compete and resonate globally.
This is about building resilient models that deliver competitive success, commercial growth, and long-term relevance.
A proprietary sporting methodology sits at the core, paired with elite playing, training, and performance environments designed for enduring success.
Athletes and staff get what they need to excel: world-class coaching, Silicon Valley-inspired innovation, female-specific R&D, personal and professional development, and brand-building that travels across markets.
Diverse teams, aligned standards, and relentless execution. Because great football demands great structure.
Because women’s football deserves a system built to last. And leaders who know how to build it.
Because identity, investment, and excellence aren’t trade-offs; they’re the blueprint. We call it our ‘Bay-print’.
And because when clubs join the collective, they don’t just take shots at the future. They completely rewrite the game plan.

Everything starts and ends with the game. Every choice, every investment, and every ounce of energy fuels performance and player development: sharpening talent, raising standards, and honoring the beauty of football played at its highest level.
Our clubs are more than teams; they’re living, breathing symbols of pride and belief, with identities that run deep. We stay true to their essence. We wrap our arms around their colors, history, and values. And from there, we lift them as high as they can go.
Football’s power begins in its neighborhoods and echoes across continents. We uplift communities, nurture inclusivity, and share stories that show the world what a force for progress football can be.

The team began playing in 2024 with a historical inaugural season, making the NWSL playoffs and setting a record in the NWSL for wins by an expansion club in its debut season. Co-founded by four U.S. Women’s National Team legends—Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton, and Leslie Osborne—in partnership with global investment firm Sixth Street, Bay FC is player-led and fan focused, seeking to change the face of women’s soccer as we know it.
