Bay Collective Appoints Wendy Yang as Vice President of Investments

Bay Collective, a multi-club ownership platform, has appointed Wendy Yang as Vice President of Investments. In her role, Wendy will help drive the identification and execution of club investments, support portfolio management, and operationalize Bay Collective’s strategic priorities as the platform scales.

“Wendy’s combination of first-hand playing experience and professional investing background provides a distinctive perspective on both the sporting and commercial dimensions of this role. At Bay Collective, our mission is to apply unrivalled expertise to advance the women’s game, build championship clubs, and place athletes at the center of everything we do. I am confident our model positions us to drive meaningful impact by accelerating investment into women’s football and sport,” said Kay Cossington, MBE, CEO of Bay Collective and Head of Global Women’s Football at Sixth Street.

Prior to Bay Collective, Wendy played for the Hong Kong Women’s Under-18s team and went on to build a career in finance, most recently as a Private Equity Associate on Advent International’s Business and Financial Services team, and previously in the Consumer, Retail, and Leisure group of the Investment Banking division of Rothschild & Co.
