Kay Cossington is CEO of Bay Collective, a multi-club ownership platform, and Head of Global Women’s Football at Sixth Street. As one of the world’s foremost experts on women’s global football, Kay has focused on holistic development designed specifically for women across all levels of the sport. From training to playing styles to infrastructure, and long-term career advancement, she was the chief architect responsible for the transformational success of England women’s football over the past decade.

Prior to Bay Collective and Sixth Street, Kay joined the English Football Association (FA) in 2005, first as Women’s Under-15s coach following a playing and coaching career at West Ham United Ladies and Millwall Lionesses. At the FA, she was part of the coaching staff that won a gold medal at the Under-19s European Championship in 2009. In 2020, Kay was appointed as the first-ever women’s technical director for the FA, responsible for all England Women’s Teams, overseeing the Lionesses’ successful EURO 2022 and 2025 campaigns and their run to the final of the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

As a former player, club, and national team head coach, she currently sits on the UEFA Women’s Committee to help drive the future successes of European football, and has been a champion and leader for change to the FIFA Women’s International Match Calendar, putting player welfare central in decision-making.
